Trailing Teams
- Trailing dog teams are trained and certified to follow human scent through an urban or wilderness environment.
Area Search
- Ares search dogs are trained and certified to cover large areas of wilderness to locate a subject. They can also work in the urban interface as well as work in town on-lead.
Human Remains Detection (HRD)
- HRD teams are trained and certified to look for decomposing human scent. They can be used in wilderness situations to locate a deceased individual or in crime scenes to locate evidence.
Disaster Teams
- Disaster dog teams are often also members of a Federal or State Task Force. They are utilized in man-made and natural disasters to locate living and deceased individuals in collapsed structures.
Water Search
- Water search teams are utilzed to assist in recovery operations when a subject has drowned. These dog teams can be utilized on shore or in a boat. They can be used on swift water or on bodies of water like lakes and ponds. They work with divers and sonar to get recovery teams close to the remains.
Avalanche
- Avalanche dog teams are specially trained and certiified to locate subjects buried in avalanches.
Evidence Dog Teams
- Evidence dog teams are specially trained and certified to assist in crime scenes. They are trained to look for items such as shell casings, guns, magazines, knives and any object with fresh human scent. They are also trained to help locate blood evidence, cladestine graves, body parts, and remains of those consumed by fire. We also combine other disciplines above like trailing teams that can follow the scent trail of an abducted child, for example.
